Fall Table – beginnings of decorating for the season.

I’ve officially started decorating for fall and realized I’m going to have to go shopping. 🙈 We need more pumpkins! I’d love to have a pile o’ pumpkins as the centerpiece at our dining table.

I wanted to start with setting our new table.  If you’ve been following along on social media, then you’ve probably seen that we’ve been working on this table that we scored on the side of the road. Now I’ve got to think about updating our chairs. I may try to strip (or at least chippy up) the older two and I’m not sure if I’ll paint the other 4 dark or swap them out with ones closer to the nice old ones.

I’ve been admiring all of the amazing fall photos on Instagram and it is officially fall in 2 days so I figured that I better get started.

I’m a super cheap thrifty shopper and never like to spend too much to pull something together. Things can still look nice on a budget. I grabbed these super cute placemats and pretty white plates at dollar tree and these amazing napkins at Homesense & my favourite, Rae Dunn bowls are topping off the table settling!

I also grabbed some really cute plates at our local GBF thrift shop here in Grimsby. I’ll share those soon too.

I updated these candlesticks with some Country Chic Paint and glaze. I’ve had them for a really long time and they used to be gold.

We had a lovely family dinner together with our pretty new table setting. I’ll share this table makeover soon as well. I really love how it turned out.

I love how cozy fall is. 🍂🍁

Have you started decorating for Fall this year? What are your favourite fall items?
