About Briar Rose & The Blog
Hi! Thanks so much for joining me here. I’m Briar Rose, a thirty-something year old from Grimsby, Ontario Canada. My family is my everything. I am blessed with a wonderfully supportive Hubby of 7 years & two amazing sons. They are my light and inspiration.
I love old houses, finding treasures, antique hunting, junk picking, decorating, refinishing pieces, chalkboards, pretty photographs, and blogging the journey of our creations.
This blog is my attempt at combining all of my current projects into one with hopes I can keep up a little easier. It’s mine, not under a specific niche and I can share anything and everything here with you. I felt constrained and limited when trying to create content on my other sites, and while they were fun, I wanted more, with no limits.
Here I will share all things that go on in our lives. Home updating, decor, designs, parenting, motherhood, natural lifestyle, diy, painting furniture, making signs, antiques, junk hunting, old house dreaming, blogging resources, my love for Jesus and how I was saved by His Grace and Reborn with Purpose, and probably even more!
I’ve been blogging for many years but things took off in 2014 when I started the Herbal Healing Mama. I’ve wanted to change its direction for so long and have been working on it but I figured that for now I would leave it as it is. You can still view the whole Herbal Healing Mama blog here. I will take my favourite posts from my old blogs and share them here as well.
I hope this blog can be fun, and useful. I look forward to connecting with you and appreciate your support so much!
Guided by the grace of God, I am thankful & blessed.
I’ll share more soon about some print designs that I’ve been working on.
I created my logo using Photoshop CS5 . The watercolour rose vector came from 1001FreeDownloads.com & the watercolor floral elements (greenery) came from Free Pretty Things for You! I had taken the voting to our Farmhouse Style Businesses group on Facebook and everyone gave me their votes. Thank you to them all for their help. ❤
